a few house rules aimed as ensuring that everyone have a wonderful stay while at Balanza Vineyard
making a reservation
We have a two night minimum for our all of our reservations and our rooms may not be occupied by more than two persons. Reservations can be secured with a 10% deposit using a credit card through our online invoice and payment platform. The remainder the rental fee will be collected via an invoice sent approximately one month prior to the start of the reserved guest stay. We use the Square payment invoices to collect all room fees.
Canceling a reservation
Any guest stay maybe cancelled up to one month prior to the start of the reserved guest stay with the 10% deposit forfeited. Reservations that are cancelled after the second payment has been received, will be refunded (less deposit) only if the room can be rebooked and only for the days the room has been rebooked. Reservations are non transferrable.
Arriving, Departing, and Eating
Guest check-in is between 4-6pm, late arrivals can be accommodated with notice.
Guest check-out is no later than 11:30 am on the day of departure.
Guest House Breakfast: Our hand-crafted three course breakfast will be served in the breakfast room from 8:30am to 10:30 am daily. The selections will be selected in advance for private groups and we will try to work with your dietary needs. If you have a special requests regarding dietary needs or allergies please make sure you tell us in advance.
Wonderful Little Add-ons: We have so many ways to make your stay with us special. Add-on a wine package, cheese platter, celebration cake, or our famous wine tasting cheese biscuits and make your stay unforgettable.
Snacks: We know you get hungry. The guest lounge is open all day long and is stocked with a limited selection of snacks and beverages plus plenty of room for you to bring your own snacks and beverages.
In keeping with our focus on working towards sustainability, we are a 100% non-smoking and non-vaping property. We make no exceptions to this policy - other than our occasional attempt at smoking some good ole Texas BBQ down in our BBQ barn.

Guest House Reservations: For our Bed and Breakfast Room rentals we are not able to welcome pets or children. We do make exceptions for private groups who are renting out the entire guest house or for very small babies and nursing moms. For private group guest house reservations with children over 12, our room occupancy is limited to two persons per room and we require an adult (person over 21 years of age) to be present in each room. We also love pets but sadly we cannot accept additional pets onto our guest house property. We have do have a staff of lovely pets available for snuggling: Ginger and Chloe (our English and Irish Setters) and Evita and Juancito (our vineyard cats). Our dogs reside in our private resident quarters and are not generally allowed in the community spaces or guest rooms. Our kittens (adorable as they are) are outside cats but sometime are found lounging on the patios and decks.
We also can recommend the Tail Wag Inn boarding facility for your traveling pets. The Tail Wag Inn is located very close to our property.
